Luss is a village in Argyll & Bute on the west side of Loch Lomond. It is within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

The Highland Town of Callander the eastern gateway to the highlands.
Spend time walking around the town visiting the small shops and sampling local produce and pick up a souvenir for your trip, a good point of the tour to stop for some lunch too.

One of the finest Medieval Castle in Scotland Doune Castle was built around 1400 by Robert Stewart, 1st Duke of Albany, Earl of Menteith and Fife.
A magnificent late 14th century courtyard castle Its most striking feature is the 100ft high gatehouse which includes the splendid Lord’s Hall with its musicians’ gallery, double fireplace and carved oak screen.
You can hear the stories of the making of Monty Python and the Holy Grail which was also filmed at the castle.

As you travel back toward Edinburgh you will pass Stiling the “Gateway to the Scottish Highlands”.
The mighty Stirling Castle sits proudly keeping watch over the city.
The reason why so many battles took place around here was in order to hold the strategic importance of Stirling, which overlooked the lowest bridging point across the River Forth.
